At FIRST Global, a team’s pit is a meeting point: people stop to ask about the robot, the season and the place the team represents. We wanted Team Bénin’s visual identity to make that invitation clear.

Start with a clear signal

Our banner puts “Robotics Team Benin” beside Beninbot, our robot mascot. The green, yellow and red stripes make the national colours easy to recognise from a distance. The wording is short and bold, so the team name stays readable in a busy event space.

Make the identity feel like home

The notebook, banner and sticker artwork share a family of colours and illustrations.

The sticker sheets include Beninbot, the team name, and illustrated references to Beninese culture. They give visitors more than a logo to remember: each design can start a conversation about where we come from and what we are building.

One team, several ways to say hello

The sticker designs pair the words “Robotics Team Benin” with recognisable colours and characters. Some are wide name stickers; others use a compact badge format. A visitor can spot the team name quickly, while the illustrations give people a reason to look closer.

Our illustrated gamer character brings the same spirit into the team’s visual world: a young Beninese girl wearing a FIRST Global shirt, holding the national flags and ready to play. She represents the kind of future we want to make visible—young people, especially girls, taking their place in science and technology.

Design is part of the engineering story

A clear stand helps us explain the robot, the FireWise Bénin innovation project and the way our team works. The notebook records the engineering process; the banner and stickers help start that conversation with other teams and visitors.

We’re bringing this visual identity to Incheon alongside the robot and the engineering notebook. We’re looking forward to meeting teams, exchanging stories and sharing a small piece of Bénin.

Takeaway for other teams

Set the purpose of your team’s visual identity before choosing the graphics. Make the team name easy to spot, use a few recognisable elements consistently, and give visitors an easy opening to start a conversation.
